Having returned to an even keel, I have started planning where I go next. The first job is to decorate the house (it's long overdue) and I have also been planning what I am going to do with the garden. I have wanted meadow flowers and some sort of fruit for a while but that was a vague idea, I now know where I am going in more detail. It's just occurred to me that this would be an ideal time for some "before" photos but, guess what? I'm not that well planned.
I'll take them and post them soon (promise!).
I've just read that back and it sounds like classic bi-polar; a period of depression followed by one of extreme creativity, but I am not bi-polar. The down time was just a random event in my otherwise creative time.
I went to a school reunion some months ago (pretty sure I mentioned it on here) and the second meeting of a much smaller, much closer group of friends happened last night. It was brilliant! The way the conversation flowed was mind-boggling! It kept fragmenting into smaller groups and diversifying and then reuniting as a whole, the disparate parts reforming into a single strand. I hope one day to write dialogue that could mirror it. Now I'm left waiting for the next meet up!
On the writing side of things...
No progress (at all!) on Thomas and the Missing Sock or Spare Wheel but (the desperate for a title) Blue Jackets #4 continues apace. My dark mood was actually helpful as that was exactly where one of the characters was as well so I could get into her head quite easily.
