The '21' in white is the time elapsed and the green hashes were the time remaining countdown (in Excel negative countdown figures are displayed as hashes).
I did have a takeaway last night but that was planned weeks earlier. It was meant to be a reward for managing to last 21 days but, in reality, it was a chore to eat. The food that was a huge part of my life is now dull and uninteresting. The plan was to have one take away every three weeks but I don't know if I'll bother.
I have started the next 21 days with the addition of a third rule. It is simple - exercise for 30 mins every day. Again, a simple rule to live by. I have created a new spreadsheet to track progress on this new goal. I'll be mentioning progress from time to time.
On the writing sides of things...
The progress on Blue Jackets #4 carries on and a couple of new story ideas have formed in my head. My head is apparently getting clearer following the traumatic start to the year and hopefully this will mean my output will recover to previous levels.
My short story, 'The Unstoppable Wonderlord' is soon to be published by Static Movement. This is particularly exciting as it was accepted quite some time ago but the anthology has been a little slow to fill. More details when available.
I'm also back to editing/proofing for a very select group of people. I describe what I do as a 'pre-edit edit'. In fact that's what I'm going to do as soon as I've finished this blog... which would be now!
