What it is not is a reason to be bloody miserable!
So you have a wheelchair? So you're blind? So you're missing limbs? So what? You are still human, still a member of society, still, in short, worth something.
There is positivity and beauty all around. You just need to find it. In the words of Maxi Jazz - "You don't need eyes to see - you need vision."
Your life may not be the one you imagined or planned for but that doesn't mean it has no point. You have to re-evaluate your goals. Win enough small victories and they add up to a big one. It is possible to retrain yourself to find the positive in each situation.
I haven't always been in the 'positive' group. I was once so 'negative' they tried to medicate me for depression and it wasn't easy getting here nor is the position very safe. I am on a peak which means I can be knocked so easily but if I do fall, I get back up because the view is fantastic from up here!
I invite all of you to join me up here.
On the writing side of things...
I am writing a short (though getting longer than planned) story, 'At the End' which is my first attempt at a non-linear story. It is a fun and challenging way to approach a story which is, at face value, a superhero story but underneath there is something far deeper and meaningful. At least it is in my head - let's see if I can the words up there onto the page!
Sorry for the rant and speak soon!
