So I entered the world of the self-published author. I don't know what I was expecting but it certainly was a bit of a rush. Collecting all of the previously published (that I owned the copyright for) and a few of my favourite unpublished pieces was a labour of love.
I rewrote extensively to correct errors in grammar and typos that escaped the first time around and (the joy!) changed elements in the story that I wasn't happy with. After a solid month the book was ready to go. And here it is!

Now the real work has begun. I am promoting this book as heavily as I can and, being English, that's not very much. I'm too polite to push it every second of the day but have to wonder if that is what is needed.
At least my first review has appeared on Amazon and it was a five star rating! The ball is rolling but very slowly...
