I just realised how long it's been since I updated this page so I am making amends and sharing my news.

On the writing side of things, it's been going well. I've had a poem 'Disability ≠ Invisibilty' accepted for a forthcoming anthology entitled 'Poems From The Darkside'. The poem was written in Rehab after I had returned from my first trip outside in a wheelchair. As the title of both the poem and the anthology suggest, this is not light reading but it is intensely personal. I for one can't wait to read the other pieces in the book.

I've also been working with my cousin, Rob Moran (when's your website coming!? I would have linked you!), on a piece for Pill Hill Press's 'ePocalypse: Emails From The End'. We had great fun wiping out the world with this one. Written as a series of emails between a scientist who unintentionally destroys the world and his brother-in-law, a priest, this was so much fun to write and I look forward to the next collaboration with Rob!

My story 'Induction' which has been accepted by Books To Go Now is going through the edit process still. This has been a real eye-opener and a great learning experience, both from a process perspective and from a technique one! I am enjoying the process immensely :D The edits for 'Induction' have lead to some major re-writes on the work-in-process 'Growth Spurt' but again, that has been fun.
